Hi, I'm Cherise
I was born and raised in Fairbanks, AK, and identify strongly with my Koyukon Athabascan culture. Denaa is the Koyukon Athabascan word for 'Our People' or 'The People'.
I graduated with my B.A. from Stanford University, and received my M.P.A. with University of Alaska Southeast this past August. I’ve been taking photos since 2015, and I’ve always loved capturing candid moments.
I'm currently based in Valdez, Alaska and have been photographing families, and couples since 2020.

Meet Taz
I have a poodle mix named Tazlina after the Tazlina Glacier and Tazlina River. She lives and breathes for her frisbee, and loves a good cuddle after a long hike, or adventure.
I'm obsessed with landscape photography
